Intro to Hoop 4 Week Course

Intro to Aerial Hoop

A four week course for those who are total beginners to Aerial Hoop, or have had little previous experience and would like to start again at a base level to rebuild strength and technique, and to improve their performance while learning a detailed catalogue of moves, flow and sequences including lifts, poses, transitions and rolls.

Our Beginners Aerial Hoop course is expertly planned with the expectation in mind that not all students will arrive with the level of muscular development to lift their own body weight straight away, and we use a carefully designed programme of conditioning and strength building techniques to progress our participants' level of fitness along with their Aerial Hoop ability.

A four week course for those who are Total Beginners to Pole Dance, or have had little previous experience and would like to start again at a base level to rebuild strength and technique.

Over the 4 weeks students will learn a detailed catalogue of moves including spins, flow movement around the pole, lifts, poses, holds, transitions and floorwork in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment with expert instructors.

This workshop will be split into 3 sections, delivering the key fundamentals of Fire Arts including

  • The right tools for the trade including Fuels and Apparatus

  • Fire health and safety

  • Your fundamental Fire performance tricks and techniques with sticks to create a visually stunning performance including Fleshing, Body Burning, Fire Eating, Transfers, Extinguishes, Ignites and Relights

  • Use of Fire Performance enhancing materials such as Titanium Oxide to create visual effects

  • Types of Fire Performance props and how to use them such as Palms, Fans, Daggers and Swords

  • Basics of Fire Breathing

  • Working with Butane Bubbles
